Bulb Planting

Getting the most out of Spring Bulbs
£60.00

Weaving spring bulbs through a garden can provide sheets of colour and forage for pollinators as early as February when the rest of the garden is asleep.  From big blousy tulips to tiny puschkinia this workshop introduces gardeners to a wide range of bulbs, their qualities and how best to use them.  After a session of ‘theory’ covering perennializing bulbs, sustainability, and the ebb and weave of bulbs through existing planting, the course moves outside for a practical, hands-on session looking at naturalising bulbs in meadow or lawn, and how to weave them into borders.  Head home with pockets full of bulbs and a firm idea of where to plant them.
